Digital & Media Arts: Technology & Arts Themed Summer Camp Time: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Meals available for purchase. Each session includes one outdoor field trip. Additional costs will be notified separately. More than two sessions get 5% off, four sessions get 10% off, and siblings get another 5% off. ------------Schedule------------ MORNING: *Daily Physical Activities: Fitness Training / Kids' Yoga / Shaolin Martial Arts / Soccer / Jump Rope *English Enhancement: Build vocabulary, improve nonfiction reading comprehension, and complete a writing project each week. *Math Skills Boost: Strengthen math foundations and advance learning with a gifted curriculum to enhance problem-solving and calculation abilities. *Second Language Learning; Healthy Snacks; AFTERNOON: Introduction to Digital Arts: Stop Motion Animation Design and Production This project-based course will allow kids to design and create their stop-motion animations, becoming true animation designers. ------------Course Overview------------ 1、Stop Motion Animation Basics * Learn about the history and evolution of stop-motion animation * Explore different types of stop-motion (e.g., claymation, paper-cut, puppet animation) * Study key animation principles like frame rate, motion, and camera techniques 2、 Animation Creativity & Story Design * Brainstorm ideas and develop unique animation stories * Write scripts and create storyboards * Design characters and scenes, blending handcrafting and digital drawing 3、 Hands-On Animation Production * Build your own animation set * Learn filming techniques: lighting, camera stability, and frame-by-frame shooting * Use professional animation software for editing (e.g., Dragonframe, Stop Motion Studio) * Add sound, music, and subtitles to complete the animation 4、Project Presentation & Sharing * Work in groups to create a full stop-motion animation project * Present and explain the project, sharing ideas and inspirations * Host an offline screening for parents and peers to enjoy the work. ------------Learning Outcomes------------ * Master animation production skills and boost creativity * Develop logical thinking and teamwork skills * Build patience and attention to detail through practical exercises

Cancellation Policy
1、ELC Summer Camp Cancellation & Refund Policy Camp Cancellation by ELC If ELC cancels the summer camp due to unforeseen circumstances (such as severe weather, safety concerns, insufficient enrollment, or other operational reasons), participants are generally eligible for a full refund. Alternatively, ELC may offer the option to transfer the registration fee to another camp session or apply it toward future programs instead of issuing a refund. Cancellation by Participant Deposit: All deposits are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Early Cancellation (More than 30 Days Before the Camp Start Date): If a participant cancels at least 30 days before the camp start date, a $100 administrative fee will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. Late Cancellation (Within 30 Days of Camp Start Date): If a participant cancels within 30 days of the camp start date, a $200 administrative fee will be deducted. Cancellation After Camp Has Started: No refunds will be issued once the camp has begun. Refund Processing Time ELC will process refunds within 10 days of receiving and approving a written cancellation request. 2、Liability Waiver I certify that my child(ren) is/are in good physical condition and does not suffer from any disability that prevents or limits their participation in all activities conducted by undefined. I acknowledge that undefined will not assume any responsibility or liability for personal injury or damages caused by the injury. If undefined is unable to reach a parent, guardian, or any emergency contact, I, at this moment, permit my child(ren) to be transported to the nearest hospital for treatment in case of an accident or emergency. At this moment, I further authorize(s) any staff or employees to provide for, approve and allow health care at the hospital. 3、Photo Release I, at this moment, grant and authorize undefined the right to take, edit, copy, publish, distribute, and use any pictures or video taken of my child(ren) to be used in and for legally promotional materials and digital communications. This authorization shall continue indefinitely unless I otherwise revoke said authorization in writing. I understand and agree that these materials shall become the property of and will not be returned. By submitting your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy's terms.
