ABOUT ELC CLUB

On April 21st, the Chinese Culture Club event was held, and students participated enthusiastically. The atmosphere was lively, with students reading books in Chinese and learning about Chinese culture. Led by teachers and volunteers, they engaged in crafting activities and listened to Chinese children's songs.

Every year, we host the Kangaroo Math, AMC 8/10, and AEMI math competitions, with nearly 40 students participating. To help students prepare, we also offer corresponding pre-exam tutoring sessions annually. These sessions are designed to enhance problem-solving skills and boost students' confidence, ensuring they are well-prepared to excel in the competitions.

The ELC Speech and Debate Club offers professional courses for students to learn and has volunteers who guide students through practice sessions. Students can systematically improve their speech and debate skills, boost their self-confidence, and develop critical thinking and expression abilities through these courses and activities. Additionally, the club regularly organizes competitions both on and off campus, providing students with platforms to showcase and enhance their skills. 

Amy Chess Club regularly hosts a variety of engaging activities designed specifically for beginners, guided by experienced volunteers. Our goal is to promote and popularize chess. In addition to teaching the basics of chess, we also organize friendly matches, providing members with diverse learning and practice opportunities to improve their chess skills and thinking abilities.
